SST HISTORY

SST Corporation was founded in New York City in 1948, as a brokerage house for industrial chemical supplies. It takes its name from the three founding partners – Fred Schmitz, Arthur Schoenwaldt and Harry Turner. As the company grew, it shifted direction and entered the expanding generic pharmaceutical industry, as a supplier of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs).
As the industry evolved, SST continued to flourish, establishing partnerships with leading API manufacturers in Italy, Spain, Korea, Japan, India and domestically in the United States.
Today, we represent many international suppliers that partnered with us decades ago. Our business continues to evolve in parallel to new developments in the market. SST continues to meet the changing needs of our customers and suppliers. Our commitment to excellence still remains.
For more than 75 years in business, SST Corporation has maintained a foundation of quality, FDA approved suppliers. REGULATORY AFFAIRS

SST employs a staff of highly qualified Regulatory Affairs personnel to assist in communication with the FDA, ANDA submissions, DMF submissions, annual updates and current industry guidance. Our staff continually trains and is up to date on the FDA’s ever changing regulations.

SUPPLY CHAIN AND CLEARANCE

One of the most important aspects of the pharmaceutical industry is delivering product in time to our customers. This is a collaboration with our suppliers, customers and SST’s supply chain and clearance services. In this currently challenging environment, we work with our partners to ensure there are no delays in shipping and delivering product.
